Podcast: June 11th Bob Long Sports Radio Show

In this week’s Bob Long Sports Radio Show, we discussed Day 1 of the Jerry Sandusky trial, which is taking place in Bellefonte, PA, including an interview with Ryan Beckler of Onward State who is covering the trial (Start-34:20).  After the break, we previewed the NBA Finals with NBA Correspondent Kevin McClernand (37:10-47:50), recapped the French Open Final and Rafael Nadal’s 7th French Open Championship (47:50-53:00), and examined the Washington Nationals phenomenon in the Virginia/DC area (53:00-55:50).  We then returned to the NBA Finals discussion, analyzing the key matchups, making predictions for the series, and analyzing the coaching matchups and whether Erik Spoelstra is being overcriticized (53:00-1:33:15).  After the break, we discussed the Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings and what it means for both the city and the sport (1:36:00-1:48:10).  We closed the show with an interview with Kevin Long, the starting pitcher for the La Salle Explorers in the team’s PIAA Semifinal (podcast of the game) victory over Hatboro Horsham.
